2017 Champs

72Hot Dogs

Joey Chestnut

He did it again. The legendary Joey Chestnut polished off 72 hot dogs to set a new Coney Island record and earn his 10th Mustard Belt. Unbelievable!

Fun fact: The former construction manager turned pro eater has made a career out of bulldozing the competition. From hot dogs, to apple pie, to burritos, he holds 40 eating records! The only thing he won’t touch? Kale.

41Hot Dogs

Miki Sudo

It’s a four-peat for Miki Sudo! She faced stiff competition from Michelle Lesco and Sonya Thomas, but pulled ahead to set a new personal best. Congratulations, Miki!

Fun fact: Joey “Jaws” Chestnut. Matt “Megatoad” Stonie. Sonya “The Black Widow” Thomas. Miki Sudo. Of all the elite Nathan’s eaters, she’s the only one without a nickname. “Never have. Never will,” she says. We can respect that.
